Ukraine Aid Surpasses First 5 Years Of Afghanistan Spending

As you’d imagine, the United States spent quite a lot of money on the Afghanistan War but has already committed more money to Ukraine than was spent in the first 5 years of Afghanistan.

Fox News reported, Earlier this year, Congress committed to spending $54 billion in traditional foreign aid and military assistance in a move to help squash Putin’s offensive.

So far $8 billion in security assistance has been physically delivered to Ukraine, but far, far more is on its way. In the first 5 years of the Afghanistan War, the federal government had spent roughly $7.4 billion which pales in comparison to the $54 billion on its way to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the U.S. experienced record inflation and a supply chain crisis while on the verge of recession.

The worst part? The Ukraine war is not one that the United States is fighting… at least not with boots on the ground. Actually the Democrat-controlled federal government has gotten involved in the war in every direct way aside from sending troops.

The U.S. has sent tanks, javelin missiles, artillery, and other weapons to the war-torn nation. It’s quite hard to believe that Russia hasn’t yet claimed that the U.S. has entered into the war.

After all, the government has made clear that its willing to sacrifice its economy and the well-being of its people in order to show Putin who’s boss.
