Maxine Waters Believes That Border Enforcement Is ‘Worse Than Slavery’

In a recently emerged series of cleverly taken photographs, a border agent appears to be whipping Haitian migrants as they attempt to cross into the United States from the Texan border. In reality, the agent holds in his hands the reigns of his horse, while the excess flops around.

Maxine Waters, a Democrat representative from California saw these images, and claimed “What we witnessed was worse than what we witnessed in slavery.”

Maxine Waters, a black woman, believes that border agents preventing migrants from entering America is worse than a slave trade that trafficked millions of innocent humans and forced them into labor.

Even if the agents were whipping the migrants (they were not) this situation would not be remotely comparable to the Atlantic slave trade that killed and displaced so many.

In a press conference the representative said “I’m pissed, I’m unhappy and I’m not just unhappy with the cowboys who were running down Haitians and using their reins to whip them. I’m unhappy with the administration. We are following the Trump policy… he is the one that does not follow the constitution and would not allow those seeking refuge to petition to get into the country. What the hell are we doing here?”

“What we witnessed takes us back hundreds of years,” Waters proclaimed.

Fox News reported, On Tuesday, National Border Patrol Council Vice President Art Del Cueto pushed back against claims of agents whipping migrants. During an interview with Fox News, Del Cueto explained agents are not assigned whips and the techniques used were within safety protocol to protect both the agent and the horse involved in the incident.

“They were not whipping anyone,” said Del Cueto. “They don’t carry whips. They don’t get assigned whips. What they do is a training technique that has been shown to them to make sure that no one takes over their horse. It was to protect the horse, to protect the rider, and to protect the individual that was trying to cause chaos and knock down that rider from that horse.”

Waters would know and understand this if she bothered to further examine the images, or even watch some of the video that has emerged.

Maxine derives support from raw visceral emotion that she is able to inflict upon her voters. The more angry they are at nothing, the more popular she becomes.
