Georgia Lifts All COVID Restrictions

Following the major and full reopening of Texas, Georgia has also decided to remove any remaining COVID restrictions.

The lift of restrictions began Thursday. Governor Brian Kemp said in a statement “”We know hard-working Georgians cannot endure another year like that last. That is why beginning tomorrow we are loosening the remaining restrictions on our economy here in Georgia,”

Among restrictions lifted are,  an end to the ban on gatherings, businesses are no longer made to require social distancing, and authorities can no longer intervene with businesses who do not comply with COVID 19 guidelines.

Over the last 30 days several other states aside from Texas and Georgia have also lifted stringent laws including mask mandates.

After fully reopening, the case, hospitalization and death rates in Texas have plummeted and hit lows that we have not seen in months.
