Chris Rock says Arresting Donald Trump will only make him STRONGER! – “Are you Stupid”

Perhaps arresting former President Donald Trump isn’t exactly the win that his enemies are seeking…

Prominent comedian Chris Rock seems to think that taking America’s 45th commander-in-chief to the slammer might actually help him more than it hurts him.

 

He likened the anticipated arrest to the arrest of the late Tupac Shakur – one of the most well-known rappers of all time.

Shakur’s arrest – which happened after releasing his third studio album – seemed to only raise the amount of support he received.

The Rapper served eight months in Dannemora prison for a sexual assault charge that he appealed. While in prison he wrote an album that sold a whopping 3 million copies.

“Are you guys really going to arrest Trump? Rock asked, he laughed that doing so “is only going to make him more popular.” Rock continued, “It is like arresting Tupac. He’s just going to sell more records.”

The comic doubled down even further, “Are you stupid? He slept with a porn star and paid off someone so his wife wouldn’t find out. That’s romantic.”

 

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was in the audience and even laughed at the joke according to a Business Insider report.

“We’ve all been cheated on. Don’t you wish that the person that cheated on you paid off somebody so you wouldn’t find out?” Rock questioned.

Trump’s defense team seems to bear the same mindset as the comedian claiming that this indictment will “Catapult him to the White House.”

 

People cling to stories, and the story of a man, especially a beloved former President running for a second term who has been wrongfully imprisoned and persecuted by his enemies will undoubtedly make for an appealing campaign hook, especially for freedom-loving, tyranny-hating Americans.

“These idiots are sealing their own fate in 2024 because the silent majority has two feelings right now about the current regime. Fear and anger,” said congresswoman and Trump loyalist Marjorie Taylor Green on Twitter.

 

The former President has also begun calling for his supporters to protest what he believes to be an unjust indictment.

This will be a likely be pivotal moment for not only Trump and his supporters, but the country as a whole and its future.
