A Madison, Wisconsin, church was recently vandalized with graffiti messages about abortion.
The Madison Police Department reported Sunday that the front entrance of St. Bernard Catholic Church was spray-painted with “anti-‘pro-life’ and anti-police” messages.
The message left also referenced the deaths of Native American children.
St. Bernard Pastor Michael Radowicz said he will pray for the individual(s) who vandalized the church, which he noted “does nothing” to aid those affected by the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
“St. Bernard Parish is saddened over the graffiti on the front of the church. We understand people’s anger over the recent ruling by the Supreme Court, but this does nothing to solve any issues,” he said, according to WMTV.
“We join in prayer for those who did this, so that the Lord may heal their hearts. An investigation is ongoing with Madison Police,” Radowicz added.
Police announced that they are offering a cash reward for any clues that result in an arrest and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
Last month, the office of pro-life group Wisconsin Family Action was set on fire, reported Fox News.
Attacks on religious institutions and pro-life centers began after a draft opinion was leaked from the Supreme Court. Following the court’s decision to overturn Roe, the attacks have continued.
