Visionary entrepreneur and Twitter owner Elon Musk confidently destroyed a BBC reporter’s allegations during a candid interview on Tuesday. The reporter, James Clayton, was left speechless and red-faced when he couldn’t provide a single example of the hate speech he claimed was flourishing on Twitter since Musk’s acquisition last year.

During the impromptu interview between the Elon Musk and Clayton, the conversation took a heated turn as they discussed the alleged rise of hate speech on the platform. Clayton’s accusations aligned with the mainstream media’s critical narrative, suggesting Musk’s Twitter was a breeding ground for hate speech.

However, the astute billionaire refused to accept these claims without evidence. Musk asked Clayton to provide just one instance of hate speech he had personally witnessed on Twitter. Surprisingly, Clayton was unable to produce any examples, and Musk skillfully exposed this lack of preparedness. Continue on to see the video below.

When Musk asked Clayton to “describe a hateful thing” he had seen on Twitter, the reporter provided a vague response, mentioning content that was “slightly racist” or “slightly sexist.” Musk probed further, asking if Clayton believed such content should be banned, to which Clayton backtracked and offered no clear position.

Clayton then admitted that his Twitter feed contained “slightly more” hate speech since Musk took over the platform. However, when Musk pressed him to name even one example, Clayton embarrassingly couldn’t provide any. Musk, clearly amused, continued to challenge the reporter, who resorted to excuses for his inability to substantiate his claims.

Clayton’s feeble defense crumbled under Musk’s relentless questioning, ultimately leading the innovative entrepreneur to conclude that Clayton “didn’t know what he was talking about.” Musk then accused the reporter of lying and challenged him to provide examples from other organizations. Still, Clayton was unable to deliver any evidence.
