A resident from northern Virginia, identified as Rui Jiang, who was apprehended during Sunday masses at a large church on suspicions of planning a mass shooting, has been found guilty of a hate crime. Jiang, hailing from Falls Church was indicted by a federal grand jury on Thursday. The charge against him included obstructing the faithful congregation’s exercise of their religious beliefs with the use of a deadly weapon and an attempt to cause harm.
