Twitter Will Allow Taliban To Remain If They Follow The Rules

Twitter has once again solidified its political bias against President Donald Trump.

The New York Post reported, Unlike former President Donald Trump, the faces and voices of the reconstituted Taliban regime in Afghanistan can apparently tweet to their hearts’ content.

In a statement obtained by Mediaite Tuesday, Twitter ducked the question of whether it would bar representatives of the Islamic fundamentalist government from getting their message out 280 characters at a time — saying only that it would “continue to proactively enforce” its rules outlawing the “glorification of violence, platform manipulation and spam.”

The Taliban will not be banned from Twitter so long as their people abide by the rules set forth by the platform.

The Taliban have used Twitter to update the world of their conquest, and war effort. They post pictures of their weapons and munitions, and explain how they use them.

“Twitter’s top priority is keeping people safe, and we remain vigilant,” they said while allowing a known terrorist group to operate on their website.

The Taliban have a surprisingly massive presence on Twitter. Their spokespersons range from 60,000 followers to 600,000 followers.

Upon scrolling through their accounts Merica Now! Has uncovered that none bear posts prior to the start of 2021.

Most accounts, like @Zabihullah_M33 joined Twitter in 2017. The accounts were likely wiped in an effort to preserve their online presence and erase old comments.
