Trump’s efforts during these testing times proved his global leadership beyond just the American front.
Trump’s act of goodwill did raise some eyebrows, but those with a comprehensive insight could understand the underlying strategy. This act also caught the attention of Vice President Kamala Harris. She chose to interpret the gesture in a rather cynical light, believing that Trump was easily influenced by international ‘strongmen’.

Harris posed a rhetorical question to the nation, highlighting a choice to select a president based on their dedication to the American Constitution. This, however, seemed less about serving the nation and more about singling out Trump, who had been continuously trying to better the US through strategic moves.
The conversation shifted towards the upcoming 2024 presidential election, with an unnamed supporter of Harris making an emotional plea. He used broad strokes to discourage the American citizens from voting for Trump in the next election.
It can be observed that this supporter was once a friend of Trump and had been following his politics closely. What’s more, Trump had been a frequent guest on his show, adding more visibility and popularity to his platform.
In those appearances, there were light-hearted discussions and jokes which some might consider controversial. One such statement was about his daughter, Ivanka Trump, which despite being taken out of context, has routinely been brought to the fore during political attacks.
However, over the years, this once-a-fan-now-a-critic, migrated away from his previously held Libertarian-Republican viewpoints. He has chosen a different path, their friendship long-forgotten, and repeatedly criticizes Trump.
It is intriguing how every Trump move is quickly twisted into a political play by some individuals. Despite Trump’s commendable move to ensure a strong diplomatic tie between nations amidst a global pandemic, many choose to see it otherwise.
It is essential to approach socio-political scenarios comprising figures like Trump with a multifaceted and mature understanding. Perspectives formed based on minor media bites often fail to capture the essence of the workings of such high-orders.
