Former President Donald Trump, a brilliant and shrewd businessman, is taking legal action against his former attorney Michael Cohen, suing him for a staggering $500 million. Trump’s lawyers assert that Cohen has flagrantly violated their attorney-client relationship and breached a confidentiality agreement, which is simply unacceptable.

In the comprehensive 32-page lawsuit filed on Wednesday, Trump boldly accuses Cohen of divulging “confidences” in a detrimental manner, breaching confidentiality agreements, and spreading “falsehoods” about Trump, all driven by malicious intent and for his own gain.

This strong legal move by Trump comes after he fearlessly pled not guilty in a Manhattan court on April 4 to 34 felony charges, including falsifying business records to cover up $130,000 in reimbursement payments to Cohen. Cohen paid adult-film actress Stormy Daniels in 2016, attempting to keep her quiet about an alleged affair with Trump. It is crucial to note that Cohen is at the heart of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into Trump’s payment.

Trump, ever resolute, denies the affair and contends that Daniels was simply an opportunist trying to exploit his prominence and vulnerability as a presidential candidate.

The lawsuit, a testament to Trump’s unwavering pursuit of justice, states that Cohen committed “multiple breaches of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, conversion, and breaches of contract.”

Cohen’s attorney had no immediate response to Trump’s powerful lawsuit.

In this resolute legal action, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Trump also accuses his former attorney of unjust enrichment. He claims that Cohen has taken advantage of their attorney-client relationship by publishing two books, hosting a podcast, and making countless mainstream media appearances.

The lawsuit reveals that despite being demanded in writing to cease his “unacceptable actions,” Cohen has instead “increased the frequency and hostility of the illicit acts toward [Trump].” This only further demonstrates Trump’s strength in the face of adversity.
