Former President Donald Trump Responds to Nancy Pelosi’s Comments on Truth Social
Former President Donald Trump used his newly launched social media platform, Truth Social, to address recent remarks made by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Trump referred to Pelosi’s comments as “mean” and “really quite vicious,” hitting back at her assessment of his demeanor during his recent arraignment.
On Thursday, Trump appeared in a Washington, D.C., court for arraignment on criminal charges related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

The charges include conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, conspiracy against rights, and obstruction of an official proceeding.
Trump pleaded not guilty to all four charges, asserting his innocence and attributing the investigations to political motives aimed at damaging his potential presidential run in 2024.
During a Friday appearance on MSNBC, Pelosi, a Democratic representative from California and a long-time political opponent of Trump, shared her observations from the arraignment hearing.
She stated that Trump appeared “very, very, very concerned” in court and likened his demeanor to that of a “scared puppy.”
Pelosi has been an influential figure behind the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, which contributed to the DOJ’s own investigation into Trump’s actions.
Responding to Pelosi’s comments, Trump took to Truth Social to express his thoughts. He criticized Pelosi’s characterization of him as a “scared puppy,” denying any sense of fear or concern during the court appearance.
Trump accused Pelosi of spreading mean-spirited comments and called her a “Wicked Witch” whose husband’s journey, in his view, begins and ends with her. The former president went further to describe Pelosi as a “sick & demented psycho” destined for a grim fate.
In a previous statement to Newsweek, a Trump spokesperson dismissed Pelosi’s remarks by humorously questioning if she was still in Congress and suggesting her absence from the limelight.
The exchange between Trump and Pelosi highlights the ongoing political tensions and animosity between the two figures.
