Trump Receives $104 Million Super PAC Donations: War Chest Poised to Topple Biden

Stepping up to the plate for a potential second journey to the White House, a significant Super PAC titled ‘Make America Great Again Inc.’ supporting ex-President Donald Trump has disclosed raking in a remarkable $104 million, based on data from the second fundraising quarter of 2024. This financial quarter always runs from April through June for all concerned organizations. Interestingly, MAGA Inc. also pointed out that it has nearly $114 million of ready cash, according to their public statement first revealed to Fox News late Friday.

The information from MAGA Inc. comes approximately ten days following the revelation that Trump’s political campaign, in partnership with the Republican National Committee, amassed an awe-inspiring $331 million over the preceding quarter. This sum vastly outpaces the $264 million pulled in by the Democratic National Committee and President Joe Biden’s bid for re-election in the equivalent timeframe.

One key funding influx for Trump originated from a financial spark ignited following some historic guilty verdicts pertaining to the former president’s criminal case in the spring. This monetary phenomenon most likely contributed a generous slice to Trump’s substantial earnings.

Focusing on strategic locations, the Super PAC confirmed in prior weeks that it was set to bolster Trump’s push with a $100 million advertising burst targeting voters in crucial swing states over the summer. These efforts align precisely with a fresh survey from the Pew Research Center, which indicated Trump owning a lead over Biden, attributing the latter’s dip in support to a subpar performance in last month’s debate.

At a glance, the poll numbers demonstrate Trump with a 44% approval rating, marginally ahead of Biden’s 40%. Most importantly, Trump has taken a significant lead (in double digits) over Biden on three critical issues of voter interest. Notably, a hefty 68% of respondents communicated to Pew Research that they have been generally disappointed with their choices for presidency.

The crucial Pew Research study, discharged into the public domain last Thursday, carries the distinction of being the first post-debate poll release. It was conducted following the 2024 presidential debate, which many deemed as chaotic and, at times, incoherent on Biden’s part.

Interestingly, Trump demonstrates strength in three significant areas causing concern among the citizens: immigration, the economy, and foreign affairs. In the domain of immigration policy, he holds a solid 17-point lead over Biden (52-35%), and in economic policy, he has a 14-point advantage (54-40%). Trump also holds a ten-point advantage in matters of foreign policy (49-39).

President Joe Biden has stated his intention to fight to stay in the presidential race against former President Trump, yet the people’s preferences seem to lean the other way. A new poll by Rasmussen Reports, shared on Friday, spells trouble for both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

In this decisive poll, a stunning 55% of participants expressed their wish for President Biden to step aside from the election pathway. A further 50% suggested that the Democratic Party should turn to a fresh face, clearly not in favor of Harris stepping into Biden’s position.

These numbers are particularly telling, as even 48% of voters aligned with the Democratic Party appear to support the idea of Biden making way for a fresh candidate. The Rasmussen Reports poll chose not to mince words and painted a clear picture of the internal strife within the Democratic Party.

Another blow to the Democratic side arrived in the form of polling data from Cygnal. It not only critiqued Biden’s debate performance but also highlighted the lack of faith in the current vice president. The post-debate shift towards the Republicans made historical records in Cygnal, as told by its President Brent Buchanan.

From Cygnal’s perspective, President Biden’s unfavorable perception zoomed to 62% after a whopping 67% of survey participants stated they witnessed his underwhelming performance during the debate. ‘There were notable shifts in favor of Trump among undecided debate-watchers and even previous Biden supporters. It’s hard not to see this negatively impacting the political climate for Democrats’, Buchanan explained.

Despite this negative polling landscape, President Biden has been adamant about not stepping aside. A recent misstep occurred when he addressed a crowd in Wisconsin, affirmatively stating his ongoing status as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.

During a 17-minute speech, he attempted to put all speculations to rest about his plan to continue his electoral journey. ‘I am indeed in the race and fully intend to win it. I am the chosen nominee of the Democratic Party. It was you, the people, who cast your votes in my favor — it wasn’t anyone else’s choice. Some folks might choose to ignore who you selected; they might even be attempting to oust me from the race. But allow me to reiterate in no uncertain terms: I’m not going anywhere,’ Biden declared.
