Former President Donald Trump celebrated a projected victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in a speech early Wednesday morning, pledging a “golden age” for America. Trump’s return to the White House followed decisive wins in battleground states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, and Nevada.
Addressing a crowd in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump highlighted GOP successes, with Republicans reclaiming control of the Senate, securing a 51-49 majority. He emphasized a commitment to enacting “common sense” policies, declaring, “America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate. This day will be remembered as the day Americans reclaimed control of their country.”
Trump praised the achievements of his supporters, promising action on energy independence, border security, and a strong stance on foreign policy. Among the supporters present were notable figures such as UFC CEO Dana White, podcast host Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, pro-golfer Bryson DeChambeau, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Referencing a recent near-death experience, Trump shared, “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason: to save our country and restore it to greatness. Together, we will fulfill that mission.” He promised unwavering dedication, saying, “I will fight for you, your family, and our nation’s future. This will truly be the golden age of America.”
Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), also addressed the crowd, calling Trump’s comeback “the greatest political comeback in American history.”
