Ivana Trump, ex-wife of the 45the President and mother of Eric, Ivanka, and Donald Trump Jr was discovered dead on the staircase of her New York City home.
The medical examiner does not currently suspect foul play, though the death certainly was sudden and unexpected. The office still has yet to determine a cause of death.
Donald Trump described his ex-wife who he remained friends as “a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman.” His daughter Ivanka admitted that she was heartbroken by the sudden death of her mother.
New York State Attorney General Letitia James has postponed depositions from Donald Trump, Ivanka, Eric, and Don Jr in light of Ivana’s passing.
“In light of the passing of Ivana Trump yesterday, we received a request from counsel for Donald Trump and his children to adjourn all three depositions, which we have agreed to,” the attorney general’s office said in a statement.
The statement continued, “This is a temporary delay and the depositions will be rescheduled as soon as possible. There is no other information about dates or otherwise to provide at this time – We offer our condolences to the Trump family.”
