In a major victory for national security and law enforcement, the Trump administration has successfully deported over 250 violent gang members back to El Salvador, removing dangerous criminals from American communities and ensuring they face justice in their home country. Among those deported were 238 members of Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua gang and 23 members of the notorious MS-13—both groups known for their involvement in drug trafficking, human smuggling, and brutal violence.

Trump Stands Firm Against Judicial Activism

The operation faced resistance from left-wing activists when U.S. District Judge James Boasberg attempted to block the deportations with a last-minute court order. However, by the time the ruling was issued, the flights carrying the gang members had already left U.S. airspace, making the attempt to interfere with Trump’s America First policy completely ineffective.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called out the judge’s ruling as baseless and politically motivated, stating that the administration acted well within its legal authority to protect American citizens from gang violence, drug crime, and human trafficking.

El Salvador’s President Thanks Trump for Securing the Region

Upon arrival in El Salvador, the deported gang members were immediately transferred to the country’s high-security Terrorism Confinement Center, a maximum-security prison designed specifically for violent criminals.

Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele praised the U.S. for its cooperation in ridding the region of these criminal elements, emphasizing that locking up these individuals will strengthen El Salvador’s security efforts. Bukele has been relentless in his crackdown on gang violence, and Trump’s deportation policy aligns with these efforts to keep both nations safer.

America First: Removing Criminals, Protecting Citizens

The deportation of over 250 gang members is just the latest example of Trump delivering on his promise to protect American communities from foreign criminal enterprises.

This bold action sends a clear message:

  • The United States will not serve as a sanctuary for violent criminals.
  • Judicial activism will not stop the Trump administration from putting Americans first.
  • International cooperation with strong leaders like President Bukele is key to keeping both nations safe.

While Democrats continue to fight for open borders and leniency for criminals, Trump remains committed to law and order—ensuring that dangerous individuals have no place in America. This successful deportation operation proves once again that strong leadership gets results.
