The channel with 1.85 million followers is operated by Australian News Channel Pty Ltd and runs 24 hours a day.
We apply our policies equally for everyone and in accordance with these policies and our long-standing strikes system, removed videos from and issued a strike to Sky News Australia’s channel.

Youtube decided to review some of the channel’s content in regards to the platform’s COVID-19 policies. Allegedly, Sky News denied the existence of the virus and encouraged viewers to use hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin.
If a channel receives 3 strikes within a 90-day period, they face permanent removal from the platform.
The suspension is to last only a week and was issued on Thursday.
Sky News Australia acknowledges YouTube’s right to enforce its policies and looks forward to continuing to publish its popular news and analysis content to its subscribers shortly.
