On a bus in Queens, a grandmother in her late 50’s was assaulted for nothing more than being white and a Trump supporter.
Jill LeCroix, was bloody after 3 younger black women beat her. “Before they hit me, the girl with the green hair said, ‘You probably like Trump! Don’t you?’” LeCroix recalled.
The grandmother of 5 responded by saying that she did, and in fact she loves Trump. Then before she could process that she was being attacked she was hit, unable to recall which woman hit her fist.
Some might accuse the 57-year-old of being racist though she has 3 biracial children who brought her grandchildren.
“The one with the green hair, she was saying she hates white people, the way they talk, hates white skin, the way their skin cracks. Saying she was gangsta,” she explained.
LeCroix was the only white person on the bus at the time, on her way to visit her mother. The group started berating her with insults as they passed St. John’s cemetery.
“That’s where I’m going to bury you!” one of the women said pointing to the cemetery. “She had a bag from Bath and Body Works, and she took out a scrub and said she was going to beat me with it. It was tangerine,”
She continued with the story “She said, ‘You’re going to get what you deserve! All white people are going to get what they deserve.’ It was crazy.”
The event is being investigated by the NYPD’s Hate Crime Unit. The gash on her head required three staples to close.
