The 93rd Academy Awards now has the lowest recorded number of viewings and ratings in the history of the show.

The total viewers amounted to 10.4 million and was rated at a 2.1 from adults aged 18-49.

Due to pressure from Left-wing online activists using the hashtag, #OscarsSoWhite, on Twitter, a record amount of awards went to minorities. This begs the question, was this earned base on merit or virtue signaling?

The New York Times reported an “analysis indicated that ‘vast swaths’ of people turned off their televisions when celebrities started to opine on politics.”
