Omicron Might Actually End The Pandemic?

It’s likely that you’ve heard a lot of stink about the Omicron COVID-19 variant. As it turns out, Omicron might actually be the diamond in the rough that pulls us out of the pandemic and puts an end to lockdowns.

Omicron is far more transmissible than the Delta variant but at the same time far less deadly. The symptoms are incredibly weak and appear to pose little threat to individuals without pre-existing conditions. The death rate is currently so low, that it doesn’t seem to be tracked anywhere.

The idea is that if Omicron is spread to the masses, nearly all who contract it will survive and walk away with natural immunity. This theory is backed by the Chief of Health in Denmark.

In South Africa, the birthplace of Omicron, the COVID-19 fatality rate plummeted from 8% to a mere 0.2% in just 6 weeks.

There’s just one catch, the more people it infects the higher likelihood a mutation will occur resulting in yet another variant. Hopefully, this won’t happen until herd immunity is achieved – but then again this is at its basis just a theory.

One thing is for certain, the lockdowns need to stop. The Wall Street Journal reported that from March 2020 to August 2021 overdose deaths increased by more than 50%. These lockdowns also rob school children of important social development vital to their lives in society.

Not to mention the costly effects that lockdowns have on the economy and workers. If workers can’t work – they don’t have money. With no money, it is nearly impossible to leave bread on the table without government support.
