As Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York is blasted with allegations of sexual harassment, The President and Vice President remain on the sidelines.
The New York Post wrote:
“President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris remained silent Tuesday as a third woman accused New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo — a fellow Democrat and administration ally — of sexual harassment.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki was pressed at her daily briefing on when either Biden or Harris — who grilled Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh about past sexual assault allegations at his Senate confirmation hearing in 2018 — would comment themselves, especially given that one of the Cuomo accusers worked for the Biden campaign.”
Flashing back to the campaign trail, when Tara Reade accused Joe Biden of sexual assault, Kamala said that she was very supportive of Reade, and believed her.
Of course after she found out that she could use Biden to elevate herself to power, she suddenly forgot about these allegations and her support for them.
It appears that the “me too” movement is only valid when the accused party happens to be a conservative. This illustrates a clear double standard.
