Multiple whistleblowers from the Justice Department have come forward to Senator Chuck Grassley regarding the suspicious business practices of the Biden family. These whistleblowers have raised concerns about the Biden family’s influence in the Hunter Biden investigation.
Some of these allegations include the irregular handling of evidence, which is impeding the investigation’s progress. Grassley is known for protecting whistleblowers regardless of their political affiliations, and the investigation is ongoing.
These whistleblowers have claimed that derogatory evidence related to President Biden’s son was falsely labeled as disinformation during the FBI investigation when it was already verified. They also believe that highly restricted systems were put in place, which prevented FBI investigators from reviewing damning evidence.
The FBI had no comment when asked about these allegations. Grassley, who began the investigation into the Biden family in 2019 as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, says the investigation continues to produce new information.
Recently, the investigation has uncovered new information related to the FD 1023 internal FBI form. In early May, Grassley and James Comer, the House Oversight Committee Chairman, wrote a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland stating they wanted information about an alleged bribery scheme involving President Biden. The GOP lawmakers asked for information about the FD-1023 form, which allegedly describes a ‘criminal scheme’.
Grassley and Comer believe there is sufficient specificity to investigate the issue, but it remains unclear if the matter was ever investigated. The GOP lawmakers claim a whistleblower provided information about the alleged scheme and that Comer had to issue a subpoena to Wray for the FD-1023 form. Dunham, the acting assistant director for the FBI Office of Congressional Affairs, stated in response that the FBI regularly receives information from sources with significant potential biases, motivations, and knowledge and that they need to avoid revealing information that could harm investigations.
Sams, the White House spokesperson for oversight and investigations, claimed that Republicans have been making unfounded, unproven, and politically motivated attacks against President Biden and his family. Sams added that President Biden had offered an unprecedented level of transparency, releasing 25 years of tax returns to the public. However, the GOP aide says that Grassley has scheduled a call with Wray and Comer to discuss the FD-1023 document subpoena for Wednesday.
While Grassley, Comer, and Wray were scheduled to talk about the subpoena for the FD-1023 document, the FBI notified Comer Tuesday it would not release the document to the committee. Comer released a statement claiming that the Committee has been clear in their efforts to protect Congressional oversight authorities. They will be taking further steps to hold the FBI director in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a lawful subpoena. The FBI stated that it will be providing access to information responsive to the Committee’s subpoena and that the situation does not require further escalation.
These allegations of the Biden family’s misconduct are alarming and raise serious ethical concerns. It is vital that the FBI conducts a thorough investigation into the allegations in order to ensure the integrity of our democracy. If President Biden and his family are guilty of such serious criminal offenses, it is our duty as Americans to hold them accountable.
However, it seems that the Democrats have been sidestepping the allegations of misconduct and dismissing them as nothing more than political attacks. But when allegations of this magnitude are made against a public figure, it is the responsibility of the media and the government to fully investigate them. Anything less would be a disservice to the American people.
The former Vice President and his family have been implicated in a number of scandals over the years. It seems as though they have been playing fast and loose with the law for far too long. This needs to stop. The American people deserve to know whether or not their leaders are corrupt and they deserve justice.
It is concerning that so much of the mainstream media appears to be in lockstep with the Democrats, unwilling to even consider that the allegations against the Biden family might be true. This is not merely a matter of right versus left or conservative versus liberal. It is about justice and the rule of law. We must put political affiliations aside and do what is right for our country.
There is no question that these allegations of wrongdoing need to be thoroughly investigated. The American people deserve to know the truth about their elected leaders.
