Similarly, a considerable gathering began around 11 a.m. in downtown Raleigh surrounding the State Capitol building. This mass mobilization of people was prompted by widespread disagreement with current state affairs.
Raleigh resident Alexandra Kandell expressed dissent at arbitrary dismissals being used as a means to cut down on governmental expense, labeling it a blatant misuse of authority. She emphasized an urgent need for change in the current government’s approach.
