Born Kenneth Bailey, Young Scooter tragically lost his life on his 39th birthday, as verified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office. Atlanta officials were notified and dispatched to a residence on William Nye Drive following reports of gunfire and a woman reportedly being forcibly compelled inside a home.
Despite arriving at the scene promptly, the police were unable to locate the reported woman or corroborate the alleged gunfire. A curious detail, however, is that a female voice on a 911 dispatch appeared to narrate an incident happening in parallel with the timeline of Bailey’s death. Official sources in Atlanta indicated that the peculiar call was placed from a device enabled for emergency calls only. Upon their arrival at the location, officers were confronted with a man who promptly slammed the door shut in their faces. This was followed swiftly by the sight of two men fleeing from the property via the rear exit.

It was during this high-speed pursuit that Bailey sustained serious leg injuries. Indeed, the nature of these injuries necessitated his immediate transfer to Grady Memorial Hospital for urgent care.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of hospital staff, Bailey’s injuries proved to be too severe and he succumbed to them, breathing his last at the hospital. In the aftermath of the incident, conjectures began to surface on online platforms arguing that Bailey was actually injured from a gunshot discharged by the police officers at the scene.
However, representatives from the Atlanta Police Department were quick to dismiss these allegations, stating unequivocally that their officers did not discharge their firearms throughout the entirety of the incident. They categorically denied the rumors suggesting Bailey’s fatal injury was a consequence of a police gunshot.
