In a major escalation of President Trump’s crackdown on violent foreign gangs, a coordinated federal operation led by the DEA’s Rocky Mountain Division struck a known Tren de Aragua hotspot in Colorado Springs, resulting in the arrest of more than 100 individuals tied to criminal and cartel activity.
The raid targeted an illegal underground nightclub that had become a haven for members of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA), as well as MS-13 affiliates. Authorities stormed the venue in the early hours of Sunday morning, catching dozens of suspects by surprise.
Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed that the operation yielded significant results: seizures included large quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, and the synthetic drug known as “pink cocaine.” Two fugitives with outstanding warrants were also taken into custody during the raid.
This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists. Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized. 2 people were also arrested on existing warrants.

This wasn’t a simple sweep—it was a full-scale federal assault on organized criminal networks operating inside U.S. borders. Agencies involved included the DEA, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, ICE, FBI, IRS Criminal Investigations, and even U.S. Postal Service police. The operation reflects the Trump administration’s commitment to a no-holds-barred, multi-agency approach to dismantling the violent cartels and criminal syndicates that have flooded across the southern border.
Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller praised the raid, saying, “Early this morning, DOJ and DHS launched a joint raid of an illegal alien underground nightclub used by TdA in Colorado. More to come…” His statement hints at further federal actions being planned to stamp out these dangerous gangs nationwide.

The crackdown in Colorado is part of a broader Trump administration initiative aimed at smashing Tren de Aragua’s growing footprint inside the United States. Just last month, 27 alleged TdA members were indicted in New York City on charges ranging from racketeering to sex trafficking.
Tren de Aragua, born out of Venezuelan prisons, has rapidly expanded its influence across Latin America and now threatens communities inside the U.S. with brutal violence, extortion, and human trafficking. Under President Trump’s leadership, however, the federal government is making it clear: no sanctuary will be given to foreign criminal enterprises on American soil.
Operations like the Colorado Springs raid demonstrate the administration’s unwavering resolve to restore law and order, protect American citizens, and dismantle the criminal networks that thrive under weak borders and failed left-wing policies.
