Allegedly, Martha’s Vineyard hospital is struggling with the impacts of a recent COVID-19 case spike.
The Vineyard Gazette reported, The Martha’s Vineyard Hospital is seeing its largest numbers of Covid and non-Covid related patients since the pandemic began, testing emergency room capacity as cases spike on-Island during the peak of summer.
In a press briefing Wednesday morning, hospital officials also said they would be reaching out to a small number of Islanders who have become eligible for a Covid-19 booster shot, with the federal government soon set to authorize third vaccination shots for the broader public.
But what recent event happened in Martha’s Vineyard that could be responsible for the recent case spike, and overwhelmed hospital?
Perhaps the maskless 400 person birthday party held by none other than Barrack Obama, only weeks ago.
According to the Daily mail, at least 74 people in the area tested positive directly after Obama’s birthday bash.
Now the Gazette is reporting at least 87 new COVID positive cases last week.
Anthony Fauci remained silent on the party, but called out the Sturges biker rally, as a dangerous event. This furthers the belief that Fauci views the pandemic through a political prism, and gives advice based on his own personal interests.
Democrats continue to pretend that Obama’s party followed “all protocol.” This is simply untrue. The CDC currently recommends mask wearing. This rule was not enforced at the party.
