Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, representing Georgia’s conservative constituency, passionately voiced her concerns about the closed-door antics of Capitol Hill. In her thought-provoking video, she embarked on a thorough examination of the government’s corruption.
Embracing her favored garage gym setting, familiar to her followers from her weight-lifting videos, the GOP lawmaker candidly criticized House leadership and the Biden administration for their handling of exorbitant spending bills. These bills, a patchwork of desperation to secure additional funding for Ukraine, did not sit well with Greene.
‘They sneaked in $300 million for Ukraine in the latest defense bill brought to the floor yesterday. I made it clear all week that I cannot support such an allocation for Ukraine,’ expressed Greene to her attentive audience. She wholeheartedly wished to support the bill sans the Ukraine provision, but her pleas fell on deaf ears.
Despite vehement appeals from Greene and other representatives, including Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida, congressional leadership ignored their calls, refusing to strip Ukraine funding from the crucial defense package.
Not content with solely discussing Ukraine, the congresswoman turned her focus to the critical issue of illegal immigration orchestrated by the Biden administration. To emphasize the severity of the situation, Greene revealed a shocking fact: 200,000 illegal immigrants had entered the United States by registering on a Biden administration app.
‘That’s just how bad it is. We have a continuous influx of people unlawfully entering America via planes, trains, automobiles, and boats, and yet, addressing the border crisis seems to be the last thing on their minds,’ lamented Greene. She stressed her frustration with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s visit to the Capitol, clad in a green jumpsuit.
‘If Zelenskyy is incapable of wearing proper attire and instead begs for money from us, how can we expect him to respect the American people?’ Greene criticized. ‘I refuse to support any war with Russia. What we need is a peace treaty in that country right now.’ Responding passionately to calls for Ukrainian funding, she firmly proclaimed, ‘Absolutely not!’
Furthermore, Greene expressed her disappointment with the Biden administration’s handling of the immigration crisis. ‘Our country is under invasion, and yet, we can’t even impeach Mayorkas. Can you believe that?’ Greene questioned, referring to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
‘We should be taking action against Mayorkas, and we should be holding Biden accountable for the border situation. But even that seems impossible. Instead, we have Republicans in Congress, representing staunchly conservative constituencies, who refuse to remove Ukraine funding from the defense bill. That’s where we stand.’
Defiantly, Greene acknowledged that her candid remarks might draw criticism, but she remained resolute. ‘The public might be upset with me for saying this, but frankly, I couldn’t care less. We, as members of Congress, deserve respect because we work tirelessly for the American people,’ stated Greene powerfully.
In a further call for change, Greene expressed frustration with the America-Last approach of the Washington D.C. federal government machine. She pointed out its inclination to prioritize the rest of the world, disregarding the needs of American citizens. ‘It’s time to put an end to this nonsense,’ Greene proclaimed.
‘Americans are fed up with a government that constantly tells them to sacrifice for others while neglecting their own needs. This must stop immediately.’ Even as recently as September 16th, Greene did not shy away from issuing a strong warning to President Biden and the Democrats.
‘We will continue to expose Biden’s crimes, forcing them into the headlines day after day, month after month. The American people need to see the full extent of Democratic corruption,’ she warned. ‘Any future candidate from the Democrat party will be tainted by this legacy of deceit and treachery combined with the destructive policies of Bidenomics. Prepare for a massive defeat.’
