In a recent incident, it is reported that two individuals named Richard and Ryan Gonzalez have committed physical assault on attendees of a party. Following the assault, these men are said to have presented a knife and firearm. The local authorities are currently in pursuit of these two perpetrators who are believed to have disrupted a family assembly in Readington.
On a recent Saturday, law enforcement reports state that a dispute arose in a residence on Emmons Road. Both Richard and Ryan Gonzalez, who hail from Staten Island, were reportedly summoned to the residence following a previously initiated altercation.
Witness testimonies collected by the authorities indicate that upon their arrival, Richard and Ryan instigated violent acts on guests present at the party. Subsequent to committing these violent acts, reports claim that they brandished a knife and firearm.
Following these shocking events, the pair reportedly made their escape in a gray-colored Honda Accord, sporting New York license plates. This pair have yet to be apprehended by the authorities, who are still in pursuit of the assailants.
Those who fell victim to this assault were given immediate medical attention on location, however they declined further assistance or transportation to a healthcare facility.
Individual charges are being filed against Richard, including a single count of second-degree aggravated assault and a separate charge of third-degree terroristic threats.
Countering these serious charges, Ryan Gonzalez faces more severe accusations. His charges include one count of second-degree aggravated assault and another count of third-degree terroristic threats. In addition, Ryan also faces two counts of third-degree aggravated assault with a weapon, and one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
