DeSantis’s Fight Against Federal Covid Overreach SAVED us from looking like Canada

In terms of liberty and freedom, Canada has been extremely limited during the COVID 19 pandemic. The fights of people like Ron DeSantis are the fine like between us and them.

Fox News reported, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis defended his record on handling the COVID-19 pandemic, remarking that if he did not stand up to the continued overreach by the federal government, the U.S. as a whole would be as severely locked down and economically depressed as Canada.

While Florida is returning to normal with sporting events returning to full capacity, DeSantis reminded “Life, Liberty & Levin” host Mark Levin that children in the state had the benefit of in-person learning throughout the past schoolyear.

Religion in Canada is a constitutionally protected right. Though, during the Pandemic several ministers were arrested or harassed by the police for holding services. During a time of such devastation, it’s no doubt that people want to be closer to their god, whoever their god might be.

Religion is a constitutionally protected right in America as well, churches were limited, but freedom was not nearly as restricted thanks to the will power of the American people.

“You just have so many threats to freedom nowadays. And what we’re doing is we’ve essentially, ‘Katie, bar the door’ to protect Floridians and to protect their freedoms and opportunities. And you see it in a number of different ways,” DeSantis proclaimed.

Canada remains under pandemic related tyranny while America has made it out. This is in part due to the brace actions of the Floridian governor who reopened his state without a massive spike in deaths.

Not long after, several other states followed in the foot steps of the sunshine state, and soon the United States would be opened once more.
