Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has issued a stern warning to individuals considering illegal entry into the United States: “If you are considering entering America illegally, don’t even think about it.” This declaration accompanies the launch of a multimillion-dollar nationwide and international advertising campaign aimed at deterring illegal immigration. The campaign will utilize various media platforms, including radio, television, and digital channels, to reach potential migrants both within the U.S. and abroad. Ads will be tailored to multiple languages and regions, ensuring the message resonates with diverse audiences.

In a video message, Secretary Noem emphasized the administration’s commitment to enforcing immigration laws and protecting American communities from the adverse effects of illegal immigration, such as drug trafficking and human smuggling. She stated, “If you come to our country and you break our laws, we will hunt you down.” This initiative reflects the administration’s broader strategy to secure the nation’s borders and uphold the rule of law.

This announcement follows recent actions by the Department of Homeland Security, including the transfer of members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua to Guantanamo Bay. Secretary Noem remarked, “President Donald Trump has been very clear: Guantanamo Bay will hold the worst of the worst. That starts today.” These measures underscore the administration’s resolve to address illegal immigration and associated criminal activities decisively.

Additionally, Border Czar Tom Homan reported a significant decline in border crossings, with the U.S. Border Patrol encountering 229 individuals across the southwest border in the past 24 hours, a substantial decrease from previous figures exceeding 11,000 daily. Homan attributed this decline to the administration’s stringent border security policies, stating, “President Trump promised a secure border and he is delivering.”

These developments highlight the administration’s proactive approach to combating illegal immigration and reinforcing national security.
