Vice President Kamala Harris again struggled to name any policy differences between herself and President Joe Biden when questioned on the matter this week.

During a brief interview with NBC News’ Peter Alexander on the campaign trail in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Harris was asked directly about her stance. “What is one policy you would have handled differently over the past three and a half years compared to President Biden?” Alexander inquired.

Harris responded, “To be candid, vice presidents—historically, including Mike Pence—are not critical of their presidents. It’s not part of the tradition, and I think it’s important for maintaining a productive relationship.”

This is not the first time Harris has faced this question on the campaign trail. During an appearance on ABC’s “The View” last week, she admitted there was “not a thing that comes to mind” when asked if there was anything she would have handled differently than Biden.

“I’ve been involved in many of the decisions that have made an impact,” she added.

When asked by CBS’ Stephen Colbert earlier this year about her differences from Biden, Harris sidestepped the question again, saying, “Well, I’m obviously not Joe Biden, so that’s one difference. But with 28 days left, I’m also not Donald Trump.”

This week, during an interview with Bret Baier, Harris again tried to distance herself from Biden without giving specifics. “My presidency would not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s,” she asserted. “Every new president brings their own life and professional experiences, along with fresh ideas. I represent a new generation of leadership.”

Despite repeated questioning, Harris has yet to provide concrete examples of how her leadership would differ from Biden’s.
