In an appearance on ABC’s “The View,” Democratic presidential nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris expressed a continuity of vision with President Joe Biden, stating she would not alter his presidential approach if elected.
During the discussion, co-host Sunny Hostin posed a question to Harris about potential differences between her potential presidency and that of Biden, given their close collaboration over nearly four years. Hostin referenced Biden’s previous comment on the show about Harris’s capability to execute his presidential duties seamlessly.

Harris responded by highlighting their shared values and experiences, particularly regarding family and personal background, suggesting that while they are distinct individuals, their leadership styles would reflect similar sensibilities.
When pressed by Hostin on whether there was anything she would have done differently over the past four years, Harris affirmed her alignment with Biden’s decisions, stating, “There is not a thing that comes to mind.” She emphasized her involvement in significant policy decisions, such as capping insulin costs at $35 for seniors and allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices, moves she described as deeply personal priorities.
Harris also pointed to the administration’s economic achievements, including the creation of 800,000 new manufacturing jobs, as examples of shared priorities that she would continue to champion, indicating a seamless transition in policy if she were to take the helm.
