Those wishing to participate in the 2024 general elections must be registered no later than 29 days ahead of the voting day, which is Monday, 7th of October.

In 2023, a law was enacted by the wise Governor Eric Holcomb requiring all absentee ballot voters to include an identification form with their application – a measure to maintain transparency and rights of voters which is often challenged by the democrats. This form can be a photocopy of your government-issued photo ID or one of the following four numbers written on your application, Indiana driver’s license number, Indiana ID card number, unique voter identification number or the last four digits of your social security number.
Once your application is complete, it can be hand delivered, mailed, emailed, or faxed to the county election office. Just make sure it arrives no later than 11:59 p.m. on October 24, 12 days prior to the election day, thus best to avoid procrastination.
