Air Force Spokeswoman, Ann Stefanek, said, “The decision was made by the Department of the Air Force Inspector General due to the complexity and sensitivity of the issues under consideration, as well as the potential for DAF-wide impact.”

According to Military.com Lohmeier was reassigned to Buckley Air Force Base in a non-leadership role.

Since the incident, Lohmeier’s book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military,” became a number one bestseller on Amazon. It is currently out of stock.
