Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Arrested Following Raids, Human Trafficking Investigation

Noted rap artist Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs found himself in the unwelcoming grip of federal authorities in New York this past Monday night. ‘Investigative actions against Mr. Combs, which our legal team sees as deeply flawed and unjust, have regrettably been undertaken by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,’ articulated Marc Agnifilo, lead counsel for Mr. Combs, in his comments made available for Fox News Digital.

This past spring, regulatory bodies executed checks at properties owned by Diddy in both Miami and Los Angeles, which coincided with a string of sexual assault allegations that emerged against him. A video recording from 2016 allegedly documents Diddy in an act of violence against his erstwhile partner, Cassie Ventura.

In the previous fall, Cassie, whose legal name is Casandra Ventura, put forth serious allegations against Combs, accusing him of sexual assault in her personal residence. She detailed enduring more than a decade of Combs’ aggressive behavior and inappropriate demands, which included being forced to engage in sexual activity with male workers in the sex industry while being filmed and watched by Combs himself.

Ventura dropped her lawsuit promptly following the filing of her claim when she and Combs managed to find a peaceful resolution. A significant development, a 2016 video exclusively accessed by CNN in May showcased the famous musician sprinting down the hallway of a hotel, clad only in a towel, following Ventura.

Following a moment after Ventura’s appearance with her luggage in the same location, a distressing sequence ensued inside the hotel. Upon reaching the lifts, Combs forcefully took hold of Ventura, causing her to fall to the ground. The soundly criticized sequence further saw Combs kick her twice, seize her luggage, and haul her back in the direction they came from. Subsequently, Ventura re-emerged in the same scene to utilize a phone.

Reflecting on the incident, Combs issued a heartfelt apology via his Instagram account. ‘It’s unfathomably challenging to revisit the gloomiest chapters of one’s life, but at times, it’s necessary. I was in a poor state—I reached the nadir of my existence—but I established there’s no excuse for it,’ Combs shared.

Combs continued his expressions of remorse in his online confession, firmly admitting his actions were inexcusable. ‘I accept full accountability for my intolerable behavior available clearly in that footage.’ He conceded his disgust for his own actions and the pursuit of professional help, referencing therapy and rehabilitation as means he employed towards this end.

A mere three days shy of the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act, three more women emerged with their own respective allegations against Diddy. Both Joi Dickerson-Neal and Liza Gardner filed individual claims of sexual misconduct against the recording artist. Subsequent to those filings, another woman, referred to only as Jane Doe in court documents, alleged that she, too, had fallen victim to sexual assault.

The indictment filed by Jane Doe claimed that the incident involved Combs, Harve Pierre, the president of his entertainment company, and a third individual when she was still a minor at 17, according to legal documents procured by Fox News Digital. In response, Diddy emphatically denied the claims in a statement published by Fox News Digital, protesting his character being maligned silently over a couple of weeks.

Notably, G. Dep, a former protégé of Diddy’s who recently finished serving a murder sentence of 13 years, expressed a desire to resume working with Diddy, regardless of the allegations. Concurrently, Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, identifying himself as a music producer and alleging previous sexual assault from Combs also filed a lawsuit in February, extending his complaint to include actor Cuba Gooding Jr.

Jones, who claims to have shared living quarters with Combs over substantial periods, accused him of repeated sexual assault and forcing him into sexual acts with paid sex workers. Agnifilo, the legal representative of Combs, vehemently denied these accusations labeling them as ‘blatant falsehoods’ while terming Jones as a desperate individual seeking an unwarranted financial windfall through a lawsuit of $30 million.

The spring season did not lift the heavy cloud of accusations. Two additional individuals surfaced with renewed allegations in their own separate lawsuits against the original founder of Bad Boy Records. Model Crystal McKinney, alleging assault, stated that she was compelled into performing oral sex on Diddy inside his recording studio in 2003.

In parallel, April Lampros, a past intern at Arista records, recounted her experiences from the 90s with Combs that she described as aggressive, convoluting from a platonic friendship into a cycle of sexually-based abuse. According to documentation accessed by Fox News Digital, Lampros iterated ‘four deeply dismaying sexual encounters’ involving Combs, including a 1996 incident that saw Combs allegedly require Kim Porter and Lampros to use ecstasy subsequently pushing for sexual intercourse between Porter and Lampros.

Combs and Porter’s lengthy relationship of about 13 years brought forth three children. The unfortunate semantics that underscores their relationship was amplified with Porter’s untimely passing in November of 2018 at the age of 47.
