Despite the bewildering fascination some people have with the likes of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, their potential to damage our democratic system is not to be underestimated. It’s worth noting that more than 100 well-known Republicans, variously peppered throughout the esteemed administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and even Donald Trump, have inexplicably pledged their support for Kamala Harris.

For mystifying reasons, these once respected officials from the Defense, Treasury, State, Justice, Homeland Security, Commerce departments and even the Congress have seemingly chosen to abandon the principles that once guided their service. It’s a sad day when Republicans fail to recognize the remarkable downfall that would set in with Kamala Harris at the helm.

They erroneously fear Trump’s stance on NATO as a pathway to aggression, painting an unreal picture of an unchecked Putin marching across Eastern Europe. Their worry of Trump establishing business ties with Russia while campaigning, arguably showcases a mind-boggling level of hypocrisy, considering Biden’s own questionable relations with countries abroad.

The stakes of a presidency should never be undermined, but placing the mantle of leadership in the hands of Joe Biden or Kamala Harris appears tantamount to walking up the gallows. The choice to vote Democratic may seem tempting to some, but one must ponder the outcome if the better candidate appears within the Republican ranks in the next electoral cycle.

The world of politics is complex. There are Democrats who’ve cast their votes for Republican presidents and vice versa. But we must understand the implications of such a momentary change in partisan stripes, especially when miscalculating the perils of a Biden or Harris presidency.

Allegedly, the GOP is criticized for overlooking character flaws solely when it comes to Donald Trump. This viewpoint, however, dismisses the multitude of moral and ethical failings of Biden and Harris, which largely remain unaddressed.

The accusations levied towards Donald Trump are manifold: disrespect towards women, veterans, immigrants, disabled, and anyone who dares to challenge him. Despite its hyperbolic caricature, one can’t help but notice the glaring hypocrisy when the same torch isn’t held to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, whose documented gaffes and faux-pas are conveniently swept under the rug.

Dwelling upon Trump’s business failures seems a favorite pastime for those adhering to the Democratic narrative. Yet, it is of crucial importance to question what Joe Biden or Kamala Harris have achieved in their extensive political careers that could directly benefit America’s private sector – an aspect that is remarkably neglected.

Some may ask, how can anyone still continue to support Trump? An equally valid question could be, how can anyone confidently support Biden or Harris, given the broad spectrum of their personal and political transgressions?

Trump’s time in office has been widely documented, and no stone left unturned. Yet, the same kind of scrutiny doesn’t seem to extend to Biden and Harris. Providing hard evidence of their achievements remains a challenge for their supporters, raising questions about their suitability for the highest offices in the land.

Trump has been labeled a narcissist, and a conman, and the merits of his public functions, fervently debated. Just as questionable are Biden and Harris’ political maneuverings, with their tendency to lean whichever way the wind blows. Alarmingly, this makes it impossible to identify their clear stance on crucial matters that the American public deeply cares about.

Unfortunately, Trump’s lively character has been grossly misinterpreted as a penchant for dictatorship. Judging someone’s policies based on their personality alone is a misguided line of argumentation. How about evaluating Biden and Harris on their policy flip-flops? These actions can be compared to wading in shallow waters, without predictability or transparency.

Trump’s criticism of certain global leaders is in stark contrast to the implied reverence Biden and Harris seem to show towards countries subscribing to autocratic ideologies. Therefore, it seems only logical to ask: just who truly appreciates dictatorial tendencies?

Harsh labels like ‘dumpster fire’ have been readily pinned to Trump, and his business failures touted as proofs of his incompetence. On the other hand, it’s seemingly uncritically accepted that Biden and Harris hold the silver bullet to America’s complex issues. Yet, where are their proven track records of solving critical national issues on par with that of a country’s Presidency?

Finally, we must ask ourselves, do we want our nation to be run like Biden and Harris’ political careers – riddled with uncertainties, policy u-turns, and questionable ethics? It’s worth investigating if we wish our country to be a guinea pig under such a dubious leadership.
