Biden and Harris’ Record: Evidence of a Sinking Ship

It raises the question of whether supporters of Donald Trump truly have a solid grasp of the extent to which they have endorsed his less-legal activities. It seems they feel it’s perfectly acceptable for him to take extralegal measures to challenge the results of an election that he undeniably lost.

By casting their votes for him, they appeared to grant approval for him to exploit the presidential powers and attempt to contravene the US Constitution. This is a choice with far-reaching implications, as it seemingly gives him a free pass to attempt such actions again.

One must wonder if they, too, had no issues when Trump incited an outbreak of violence, an action leading to the injury of over 150 law enforcement officials and causing millions of dollars in property damage. He now desires to absolve those instigators who confessed their guilt, signaling a troubling precedent.

At the face of these actions, it feels downright a welcome march of fascism into the heartland of America. One can only wait in anticipation to see if these dictatorial tendencies persist should Trump regain the Oval Office.

A hypothetical pondering: what would have been the public’s reaction had Joe Biden attempted to consolidate power through equally disruptive and illicit measures? Would such actions have been so readily condoned by the populace and lawmakers of the Democratic Party?

The eagerness of these past Trump supporters to quickly let go of economic accountability is also a point of curiosity. When the marginally inflated costs of everyday commodities, like eggs and gasoline, become apparent, will they mindlessly point fingers at the latest date on the calendar?

It’s a notable paradox for those who naively pin the blame on self-serving corporate greed for the inflation, following diminished profits due to covid-induced conditions. However, the origin of these circumstances is, in fact, the result of ill-managed governance.

Facing the reality of the situation indicates that the Biden-led administration inherited a nation in socio-economic turmoil, thanks to the unsatisfactory efforts of the Trump administration. This, combined with a fierce pandemic, renders a climb back to economic stability a difficult task.

Yet it’s ludicrous to even suggest that Biden’s administration is even pulling the rope toward a ‘slow, steady climb back to normal.’ On the contrary, his feeble attempt to clear the chaotic mess he was handed can only be seen as a laborious scramble at best.

Instead of silently suffering through this dire economic strait, it seems the public has braced itself to weather the storm. A storm that the Biden administration—with Kamala Harris as an ineffectual sidekick—has proven incapable of navigating.

Unyielding corporate greed or inflated cost of living—these grievances should land squarely on the stooped shoulders of the current administration. Biden’s disjointed and feeble attempts to bring back stability is clearly doing more harm than good.

It’s bewildering to think that one could vote Biden and Harris back into office, believing their ineffective policies and questionable decision-making could turn this ship around. A belief that could be held only by those marching in the parade of slavish obedience to authoritarian tendencies.

One must ponder if Biden and Harris truly believe that their current policies are accomplishing anything beneficial or if they are merely ignoring the cries of the average American. If you voted Biden and Harris, congratulations, you now partake in this unprecedented fiasco.

This isn’t about blindly supporting one political party over another. It’s about critically evaluating the current state of affairs and recognizing the incompetence of the Biden-Harris administration. It’s about sanity over partisanship.

Based on their track record thus far, one can only deduce that if Biden and Harris were handed another term, they might just steer the ship even nearer to an iceberg. Remember, it’s not an act of defiant criticism—it’s an assertion based on facts and observations.

To place trust in a duo that has shown time and again their inability to cope with difficult situations and make sound decisions, would indeed be an exercise in futility—like trying to put out a forest fire with a water pistol. It’s high time to wake up from the politically unfavorable reverie, the current administration certainly needs to.
