Among the equipment left behind were MRAP armored vehicles mounted with 50. caliber machine guns, scan eagle drones, hundreds of Humvee’s, helicopters, weapons and ammunition. All of which was ripe for the taking, and fell right into the hands of the Taliban.

Sunday, the Afghani President, Ashraf Ghani fled the doomed nation. The government of Afghanistan officially collapsed, and the Taliban seized the Capitol city of Kabul.
The Taliban are soon expected to declare the “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan,” a new nation from the Presidential Palace.
This equipment was paid for, and placed in the region by the United States. As the withdrawal was executed, the mess was left there.
Prior to the fall of Afghanistan Biden redeployed 5,000 troops to the nation in order to secure the American embassy and evacuate U.S. personnel.
Most troops arrived Friday, but all are expected to be in the region by Sunday at the latest.
