Putin Says He Backs Kamala For President (VIDEO)

Last week, current Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, publicly voiced his support for Kamala Harris, the Democrat’s choice for the presidential race. This declaration occurred during the plenary session for the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok, Russia. Putin’s fondness for Harris echoes previous indications of his alignment with the Democratic Party.

According to Putin, initial backing was directed towards Biden, but given his exit from the race and subsequent endorsement of Harris, the Russian president’s support has been promptly redirected. Putin expressed his approval of Harris, citing her jovial personality. ‘Her laughter is spontaneous and contagious, indicating all is well with her,’ he remarked.

Rebekah Koffler, a former Defense Intelligence Agency officer, suggests Putin’s preference for Harris goes beyond mere admiration. Koffler posits that Putin finds Harris more manageable than Trump, whose unpredictability and complex character profile make him a difficult adversary for the Russians.

In response to Putin’s endorsement, the Trump campaign posted graphics across various social media platforms highlighting the Russian president’s backing for Harris. Trump himself followed up with a post on Truth Social, hinting that Putin harbors a strong preference for Harris’s leadership.

Koffler also explains that Putin’s comments have a strategic angle – to destabilize Harris by simultaneously ‘ridiculing, enchanting and gratifying’ her. By playing this double game, Putin attempts to exert his influence and subtly manipulate the outcome of the election dynamics.

Reflecting on the state of U.S. politics in 2020, Putin recognized the stronger ideological alignment between the Democratic Party and Russia, particularly reminiscing about the former Soviet Union, when compared to the Republican Party.

He explained the historical associations; ‘The Democratic Party leans more towards the so-called liberal values, very much akin to Europe’s Social Democratic ideologies. Unsurprisingly, these are the very environments that birthed the Communist Party.’

Putin revealed his long history with the Soviet Communist Party where he was an active member for almost 20 years, specifically 18 years. Although he was an ordinary member, he was a firm believer in the party’s objectives.

Putin went on to discuss his continued inclination towards these left-wing ideologies. He acknowledged the implementation challenges but also reiterated the allure of these values. ‘While the realization can be tough, the values themselves remain highly appealing.’

The Russian leader further suggested an ideological affinity with the Democrats, stating that these left-wing values could be a solid foundation for fostering relations with a Democratic representative.

However, while Putin’s sentiments certainly add a layer of complexity to the political landscape, it’s crucial to remember that the American political process is independent. The citizens’ choice, rather than foreign endorsements, will ultimately determine who occupies the Oval Office.

Moreover, the unpredictability of politics, especially in a democratic arena as dynamic as the U.S., only heightens the uncertainty of election results. Putin’s endorsement may shape perceptions, but it’s unlikely to dictate the outcome of the presidential race.

As global leaders continue to observe the unfolding political saga, the focus remains on the commitment to upholding democratic values and ensuring the sanctity of the election process. The ultimate aim must always be the prosperity and well-being of the American people.
