Are the United States and China heading for all-out WAR?

Sitting in the eye of the storm that is the recent email releases of the now-disgraced Dr. Anthony Fauci is Beijing. The communist state is sweating as the degrees of certainty implicating it as the cause of the 2020 pandemic grows higher and higher. Their response?

Well…that’s not incriminating or anything.

The CCP’s propaganda arm, the Global Times, published a piece written by the outlet’s own chief editor Hu Xijin. In it, Hu expresses his country’s need to redouble its efforts to manufacture and stockpile nuclear armaments, apparently foreseeing an incipient hot war between China and America.

Hu writes,

As the US strategic containment of China has increasingly intensified, I would like to remind again that we have plenty of urgent tasks, but among the most important ones is to rapidly increase the number of commissioned nuclear warheads, and the DF-41s, the strategic missiles that are capable to strike long-range and have high-survivability, in the Chinese arsenal,”

He continues, seemingly sure of his advantageous position.

On this basis, we can calmly and actively manage divergences with Washington to avoid a minor incident sparking a war. US hostility toward China is burning. We must use our strength, and consequences that Washington cannot afford to bear if it takes risky moves, to keep them sober.”

As of this moment, China posses the world’s largest standing army: A force totaling an estimated 2 million-plus soldiers. Larger than India’s 1.5 million, Russia’s 1.1 million, and even the US’s 1.3 million. That, however, means more for Russia and India than it does for the US, as both countries share a land-boarder with China and would, inevitably be pulled into a global war with China – India in particular, which engages in skirmishes with China on a regular basis.

Last year, India even signed a reciprocal military logistics pact with Japan and has signed similar agreements with the US, Australia, France, S. Korea, Singapore, Britain, and Russia. These pacts are agreements to share military intelligence in the face of China’s growing threat to the wider world at large – and the world, it seems is not on China’s side. Nor is time; a confident party does not start spitting threats for no reason. China’s back is against the wall and they know it.
