Antifa Members Turn Boston Protest Violent

During a “Rise Against Tyranny” protest Sunday, members of Antifa groups showed up and turned the event violent.

The demonstration against COVID-19 vaccine and mask regulations was organized by “Super Happy Fun America” and began at noon at the Boston Common.

In response to the protest, other organizations associated with Antifa such as ‘Solidarity Against Hate – Boston” and “Green Monster Antifa” announced they would be going to the protest.

A tweet from “Solidarity Against Hate” read “Let’s make sure they know where Boston stands”.

Videos shared on Twitter show police in riot gear making their way to the protest in order to break up fights.

After Antifa rioters showed up, they began playing music and instruments to drown out speeches from the group opposing mandates.

The Super Happy Fun America organizer, Brandon Navom, said “We came here to peacefully protest when we were violently attacked by a mob that pepper-sprayed us, attacked us and refused to allow our van to leave”.

The Antifa rioters were seen holding signs with the hammer and sickle on them and some read “Death To Fascism”.

They were also recorded yelling “Nazis Out!” as a U-Haul van was trying to leave the area.

During the fights, people were pepper-sprayed and at least one individual was seen receiving medical attention from police.

A Boston Police Officer told Fox News that there were “two arrested after opposing sides clashed at today’s scheduled event and planned counter-protest on the Boston Common. BPD assets included officers in protective equipment”.
