The duo first shared screen time when Zellweger featured in Celebrity IOU Joyride back in April 2021. Following this impactful encounter, they declared their relationship officially in September the same year. Since then, their bond has only deepened and the couple is now sharing their lives together in the heart of Orange County.

Addressing his stay in America, Anstead expressed, ‘My permanent residence is in the United States. Having stayed in America for the last eight years, I can truly say it feels like home for me. It was a chance coincidence that I happened to spend my entire summer here due to a project that I was working on. And of course, not to forget my beloved family here and my ongoing commitments, but all said and done, America is my base. My traveled journeys and vacations guide me back home, which is England.’

Interestingly, despite staying in the United States, this dynamic couple manages to spare time to visit the United Kingdom too. It was during one such visit that Zellweger filmed the most recent movie in the Bridget Jones series. During an interview, Anstead disclosed a bit about their enchanting experience at the annual Goodwood festival that the pair attended alongside his two children. It was here that they shared an endearing picture together.

About this captivating excursion, he mentioned, ‘ Goodwood and I have a long professional relationship. Therefore, being able to bring my lady love and introduce her to my sphere, specifically the car world, along with my children was a remarkable experience. It was a fantastic time. Her affection for this country – England, is undeniable and well-known to all.’

Anstead also revealed his fondness for his partner through his commendable social media posts. One such sweet memory was his expressive post during the summer, where he showed his admiration towards a poster of Zellweger’s forthcoming reel life character Bridget Jones in the sequel ‘Mad About the Boy’. He confessed with heart-felt sentiment, ‘She looks so utterly stunning…’ He followed it up saying, ‘My Ren is truly a charmer (lucky fellow).’

Speaking about his life endeavours, Anstead explained his ambitious undertaking of a comprehensive five-year house renovation project. However, he also highlighted the serious challenges it posed, particularly the dilapidated back end of the property, which stood in a state of disrepair on the verge of collapsing. He shared his initial dreams of transforming the lives of his parents through this venture, only to find himself in deep water.

Describing his childhood, Anstead said they never owned a house of their own. His parents were both school caterers and they lived in school-provided accommodation. In a sentimental memory, he recalled, ‘My mother collected Lilliput Lane houses, and when I was seeking for a house to purchase for my parents, as soon as I entered this one, I had a familiar feeling. It felt as if I was walking into a life-sized Lilliput Lane. I immediately knew that we had to buy this house. But now, I find myself dealing with the consequences of that emotionally-driven pursuit.’

In concluding remarks to his profound journey, Anstead shared, ‘One skill that I certainly possess is car building. Luckily for me, there was a barn accompanying the site which makes for a perfect place to refurbish a few cars. Through sheer hard work and some luck, I was hoping to bring in some profits from selling these cars, which would consequently benefit the house project.’
