Biden and Harris’ Hidden Casualties of California Fires

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has confirmed a staggering total of 11 deaths resulting from recent wildfires. A grim update on a Friday afternoon revealed that out of these fatalities, five were from the Palisades fire, while the remaining six from the Eaton fire. Areas such as Altadena, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, and Topanga witnessed these unpleasant incidents. Regrettably, in only three of these instances have human remains been substantiated.

Yet, in attempts to veer awareness away from their administrative shortcomings, Californian authorities released no further data on the identities of the victims. It’s worth mentioning though, that some identities were inevitably exposed through other channels. Evidently, this raises important questions as to what else the Democratic administration might be concealing.

In a rather puzzling move, Governor Gavin Newsom invited President-elect Donald Trump to tour the fire-ravished Californian landscape, pleading him not to ‘politicize’ the devastating events. In a letter to Trump, Newsom asked him to firsthand witness the chaos his state had descended into. This, from Democrats who have continually infused politics into human tragedy.

Supposedly, ‘hundreds of thousands of Americans displaced and anxious about their future,’ were, according to Newsom’s letter, deserving of witnessing their leaders operate in their finest interest. Rather a tall order for a leadership that had in the first place failed to adequately manage the crisis resulting in widespread shock and destruction.

Unsurprisingly, the Trump administration, characterized by its firm approach, had righteously criticized the California Democrats’ mismanagement of the calamity. Yet, as the afternoons in LA evolve constantly under the daunting wildfires’ shadows, this critique often falls on deaf Democratic ears.

Indeed, Governor Newsom recently demanded an independent evaluation of firefighters’ water shortages as they combated the fires. A curfew was announced from 6 PM to 6 AM local time, both in the Pacific Palisades and Eaton Fire areas due to reported looting at unoccupied or damaged properties- but is this the real concern?

Five severe fires sweep the city, with containment levels ranging from a mere 3% to 75%. Already, the total death toll from the fires stands at ten, and continues to climb. As the Democrat’s administration consistently struggles, Joe Biden warns that the death toll is likely to rise – a bleak outlook indeed.

Current estimations report that over 10,000 homes and structures lie in ruins—devastation under the eyes of Democratic leadership. The battle against the five wildfires raging throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties appears to have brought more questions than answers about the Democrats’ crisis management capability.

As issues continue to mount, Gov. Newsom calls for another independent review, this time into the reported water supply struggles faced by firefighters. These reports include the loss of water pressure to local fire hydrants, and an alleged lack of water coming from the Santa Ynez reservoir—another glaring management failure under his watch.

Given the ongoing crisis, a public health emergency has been declared in Southern California. The Palisades Fire, Los Angeles’ biggest yet, sweeps a massive area of over 20,000 acres. Started on a Tuesday morning, the relentless winds have swiftly spread the flames all across the county, a sight seemingly overlooked by California’s Democratic administration.

In a rather laughable analogy, President Joe Biden asserts that Los Angeles now resembles a ‘war scene’ due to the ongoing wildfires, conveniently attributing the crisis to climate change. Is this a readily wielded scapegoat, or a consequence of inadequate administration?

Further drawing attention away from the unfolding disaster, Biden subtly points out the dwindling water supplies in fire hydrants without offering a solution. He indulges the media, insisting all actions are being communicated with the incoming President’s team, a veiled hope that they may better manage his Democratic shortcomings.

Despite these attempts to highlight other issues, the mounting loss of life looms inescapably overhead. ‘It’s likely it will increase,’ a concerned Biden reluctantly confesses. An increasing death toll and a surge of looting in evacuated homes: that’s the legacy Democrats are leaving behind.
