In his remarks, Trump announced plans to implement substantial tax cuts, particularly favoring companies that manufacture products within the United States. He stated, “We are incentivizing everybody to come back to the United States. We want you back here.” Highlighting America’s energy resources, he added, “There is no country in the world that has more; we’re number one.”

The event was notable for being the first time a president-elect has rung the NYSE opening bell since Ronald Reagan in 1985. During the ceremony, traders on the floor initiated chants of “USA,” reflecting the patriotic atmosphere of the occasion.

Trump’s appearance at the NYSE underscores his administration’s focus on economic policies aimed at boosting domestic production and reducing corporate taxes to stimulate growth. The event also served as a symbolic gesture of confidence in the U.S. financial markets as he prepares to assume office.
