Hope criticized the electorate for not supporting Harris and her father, emphasizing that “the only people that delivered this election were black women, and we failed them.” She also personally criticized President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance, expressing relief that she is “on the side of love and hope and joy and progress.”
