As Election Day looms, former President Donald Trump is making a relentless push across battleground states, rallying supporters with a whirlwind of events in a last-minute bid to energize voters. Trump’s campaign has packed the final days with rallies and appearances, showing his commitment to a high-energy finish and aiming to sway crucial swing-state votes in the hours leading up to Tuesday’s vote.
On Friday, Trump heads to Warren, Michigan, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Saturday brings stops in Gastonia and Greensboro, North Carolina, and Salem, Virginia, while Sunday takes him to Lititz, Pennsylvania, Kinston, North Carolina, and Macon, Georgia. Trump’s schedule for Monday—the campaign’s last day—includes a packed series of rallies in Raleigh, North Carolina; Reading and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and a late-night stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan, possibly pushing his final rally into the early hours of Election Day.
Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, is also heavily campaigning, scheduled to visit Michigan, North Carolina, and Georgia on Friday, followed by events in Nevada and Arizona on Saturday. High-profile surrogates, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Donald Trump Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Danica Patrick, and Sage Steele, will be stumping for Trump across Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia, with Kristi Noem appearing in Holland, Michigan, on Sunday night. The “Team Trump Women’s Tour” will also rally in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, energizing supporters in a key state.
Polls are tight: FiveThirtyEight reports a slight lead for Kamala Harris in Wisconsin and Michigan, while Trump holds a narrow advantage in Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. With these slim margins, Trump’s team is intensifying efforts in these crucial states.
In Pennsylvania, Trump’s campaign will kick off a statewide bus tour on Friday, traveling through 11 cities and towns and featuring a roster of GOP figures, including Mississippi Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, Texas Representative Ronny Jackson, Florida Representative Byron Donalds, former acting U.S. Attorney General Matt Whitaker, and former White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley. “Team Trump is traveling across Pennsylvania to meet voters where they are—from diners to sporting complexes to construction sites,” Team Trump spokesperson Liz Huston told The Daily Wire. “Pennsylvanians are swamping the vote for President Trump because, in her four years as Vice President, Kamala Harris has failed them.” Huston predicted a strong showing for Trump in Pennsylvania, saying voters will “flock to the polls to elect President Trump to secure the border, strengthen the economy, and restore law and order.”
Meanwhile, the Trump campaign has filed a Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint against The Washington Post, accusing the newspaper of making “illegal corporate in-kind contributions to Harris for President.” Citing a Semafor report, the complaint alleges that The Washington Post has boosted dozens of election-related stories, starting on October 28, that are critical of Trump and generally favorable toward Harris. The complaint reads, “The facts support a reasonable inference that The Washington Post made, and Harris for President accepted, an illegal corporate contribution in the form of coordinated communications.” It demands an investigation into the paper’s advertising practices and sanctions for what the campaign views as corporate interference in the election.
With polling numbers fluctuating and battleground states on edge, Trump’s campaign is pulling out all the stops to galvanize its base, a strategic push designed to sway undecided voters and bring crucial swing states under the red banner come Tuesday.
