An update was provided by the Schenectady Police regarding an arrest related to the case. A 40-year-old man, Corydon R. Carlton, from Glens Falls, NY, was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder, which falls under Class A felony. The apprehended, Corydon R. Carlton, is currently being detained in the Schenectady County Jail.

Another incident took place in the early hours of August 1, when police officers from the Eastern District of Baltimore were alerted through a Shot Spotter notification from the 1300 block of North Luzerne Ave.
Upon reaching the site, they found a male victim, 29 years of age, who had sustained non-life-threatening gunshot injuries. The victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital to receive medical help. At present, detectives from the Eastern District are diligently investigating the incidents that led to the shooting.
