Andrew Tate Freed from Romanian Prison and Put Under House Arrest

Prominent influencer Andrew Tate and his brother have been liberated from jail in Romania and granted 30 days of house arrest instead, as revealed by court documents. The 36-year-old former professional kick boxer and his sibling Tristan are being scrutinized over accusations of sexual assault and exploitation.

 

An appeals court in Bucharest issued an order stating it “dismisses the request to prolong the preventive arrest measure concerning defendants Tate III Emory Andrew, Tate Tristan, Naghel Georgiana Manuela, and Radu Alexandra Luana.” The court then “substitutes the preventive detention measure with house arrest for a 30-day duration.”

The document mandates the immediate release of the defendants. Andrew Tate’s communications director, Mateea Petrescu, informed Sky News: “They pose no flight risk and no threat to public safety; hence, [the authorities] opted to release them under house arrest. This is merely a minor step; they remain under investigation.”

“They are genuinely elated. They maintained their spirits in jail and are eager to return home, having preserved their optimism throughout the ordeal.”

 

Romanian authorities reportedly seized goods and money valued at nearly £3.25 million from the esteemed influencer’s villa, including luxury vehicles. The alleged victims were enticed with the promise of love, later subjected to intimidation, surveillance, and other control tactics, and coerced into engaging in explicit acts for the crime group’s profit.

Despite being banned from Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube for violating rules on “dangerous individuals” and breaching hate speech regulations, Andrew Tate remains resilient. He was removed from Twitter in 2017 but readmitted in November 2022.

One small step for the Tate’s happened today. Hopefully things continue to surface and a conclusion to this trial will be given soon.
