Mother Of Oxford School Shooter Sent Chilling Texts To Friend On Day Of Shooting

Jennifer Crumbley, mother of the Oxford school shooter allegedly sent eerie text messages about her son Ethan to a friend on the day of the shooting.

Jennifer indicated that she did not believe that her son should be left alone after having seen the ominous images that Ethan had drawn during school.

The texts were sent to a friend named Kira Pennock. Pennock is the owner of a Michigan horse farm, where two of the Crumbley family horses were stabled.

Jennifer told Pennock that she was having a bad day, and explained part of the situation. “…Just got to go to my son’s school and meet his counselor. Sh*t day,” she said on November 30th just before noon.

The mother told Pennock that Ethan was struggling with the death of their dog, and his friend who had gone away to a “treatment facility”. She also alluded that there might be more, but that she was unsure. Jennifer would be unable to imagine the events that would unfold in the next hours of that day.

She indicated in another text to Kira Pennock that it might be a good idea to bring Ethan to the horse farm after school out of fear that he “can’t be left alone”.

The 45-year old mother also allegedly shared the gruesome images that Ethan had etched on his classwork with her friend.

Fox reported, “The thoughts won’t stop,” Ethan Crumbley allegedly wrote beneath a drawing of a gun, followed by, “Help me.” Above a drawing of a bullet, the drawing says, “Blood everywhere.” Further down on the page are other handwritten words and phrases including, “My life is useless.”

Both of the shooter’s parents were charged with involuntary manslaughter back in December. Each pled not guilty.
