Project Veritas Clip Shows NJ Election Worker Allowing ‘Non-Citizen’ To Vote

Project Veritas released a new video this week showing a New Jersey election worker for the gubernatorial election giving a ballot to a journalist pretending to be a non-citizen and non-registered voter.

The man in the video says he voted in the presidential election but wasn’t registered. The election worker asks if he is registered now, to which he responds, “Oh, I never filled anything out, no”.

The woman says “Then I can’t see how you can vote, because you’re not registered”. She is then reminded by another worker that he can. The other person says “Remember, we were allowing anyone to come in”.

Project Veritas points out in the video that, according to NJS 19:4-1, non-citizens cannot vote or even register to vote.

The woman agrees and says she’ll let the man fill out a complete ballot. “Whether or not it’s going to be, they’re going to count it, I don’t know,” she claims.

The man states he’s an Irish citizen with a work visa and the woman says “we’ll let you do it. They’ll figure that out”.

Again, Project Veritas notes that the law NJS 19.34-20 says “poll workers may not provide a ballot to someone not entitled to vote”. They also specify that providing a ballot to someone who cannot vote is a “crime of the third degree”, which is punishable by up to a $15,000 fine and up to five years of imprisonment.
