77 Iowan Inmates Overdosed On Covid Vaccine

If America wasn’t sure what effects overdosing the COVID 19 vaccine might have, after 77 Iowa inmates received more than the recommended dose, the answer will be clear.

According to ABC: “Two medical staff members from the Iowa Department of Corrections incorrectly administered the covid 19 vaccine – – developed by U.S. pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech — to 77 inmates at the Iowa State Penitentiary, a maximum-security prison for men located in Fort Madison, about 90 miles southeast of Iowa City. The dosages given exceeded the amount recommended by the vaccine manufacturer, according to Cord Overton, spokesperson for the Iowa Department of Corrections.”

This happened just as President Biden announced that over 200 million shots had been administered prior to his 100th day in office.

Immediately after the fact, the corrections department immediately contacted the CDC and Pfizer letting them know about the situation. The CDC told them not to expect serious side effects.

The inmates who were affected by the error have been notified and are being heavily monitored by medical professionals. So far most side effects are in line with what is typically expected from the second or even first shot of the Pfizer vaccine.

An investigation is pending into the situation that resulted in the overdose of the 70+ inmates.
